Why I like Google+ better than Facebook

After my latest Facebook update (in which I invited all my friends to join me on Google+), I got several messages asking why I like Google+ better. Here's why:
1- Circles. It is simple and easy to group friends and family so I can share everything with people I am close too and less with those I am not. I decide how much info to share with each circle.
2 - I can quickly catch up on the latest updates from just the people within a circle. And my stream (news feed) is not brought to me by an algorithm that randomly(ish) decides which updates to show me.
3 - People can add me as a friend but I may only add them as an acquaintance or not at all and they'll never know. It's not all or nothing.
4 - I can follow someone not because I already know them but just because I think they have interesting comments or posts.
5 - No ads! No games! No apps! Just people and their lives/interests, no distractions.
(yes, you can do 1+2 in facebook, but it is easier and quicker in google+)
Let me know if you want an invite!

Disclaimer: I still prefer blogs over all else. I feel that with blogs I get to see more depth into my friends lives - assuming they update of course :)
