My post is a little slow, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and took the time to count the many, many blessings we have. Ross and I had a wonderfully simple Thanksgiving at home with our brothers, Scott & Jacob. Just the four of us sat around and ate food, played games, and watched movies most of the day. It was quite wonderful and a much needed holiday from work and school.
We have been very busy the last few weeks. Last Monday I had one of the hardest science tests I've ever taken. I spent a week cramming for it and probably should have spent much more time getting ready, but that is what I get for procrastinating. All turned out well in the end. I passed, just barely, but passing is what really matters, and now I am done with that course and moving on.
Ross has been crazy busy with school also. Actually it is more his so called extra-curricular activities that keep him busy. He is involved in two research groups PSST (as mentioned in other posts) and also SOAR. He will have to post what the groups do, I can only say that they keep him very busy. As the end of the term approaches I see him less and less. Ross's latest project was writing up a proposal to apply for an ORCHA Grant. And only yesterday Dr. Lonsdale requested that Ross write an abstract (concerning the research project he wants to do with the ORCHA Grant) to submit to yet another conference. This is an awesome opportunity for Ross to have something published in his name (not as a group) but it is going to be tons of work. So I just do my best to help him anyway I can, it usually consists of putting a plate of food in front of him and reminding him to breath every once in a while.

I feel ya! Denis studies like crazy for his finals and I've learned the best support I can give him is food and space...I just let him be for a day or two until things calm down a bit more, haha. I'm glad you passed your test too:)
Hmmm, your life sounds suspiciously like mine...
Great job on the test!!!
