Superman turns Two!

This was the easiest Two year old birthday party ever!

First, there was this super easy, but fantastic birthday cake. Just cover your cake in "dirt" (crushed oreos) and stick a toy tractor on top. I used some crumpled cupcakes to make a little dirt pile for the tractor to scoop. Below is a picture of the little birthday boy in awe of all the awesomeness!

Next, we had some very simple toddler friendly snacks and some "dirt" cupcakes piled in a dump truck.

Since it was a two year old party, I figured games would be mostly pointless, so I set up a few little play zones.
The Color Zone.

The Build Zone.

The Dig Zone. Most popular by far, but no surprise there.

hmm... fascination with the trash can... boys... sigh.

And a picture of little Batman, who is almost five months old!

P.S. For a moment I thought a piñata would be lots of fun and then I envisioned a dozen little boys all finding sticks of there own, circling around, and trying to beat the crap out of the piñata, not caring what got in the way - or who it was attached to!! We didn't have a piñata - period, amen. But we did have tons of fun!!

P.P.S. You don't see any pictures of Superman opening his presents, because, well... we didn't wrap any. Trust me, he got plenty of presents (Thanks Grandma!) we just got lazy and didn't wrap them.
