My amazing cousin just introduced this blog that every mom of a toddler will love: Toddler Teaching Themes.
Megan (my cousin, not me) made a list of a bunch of themes that would be fun for toddlers. Then checked out books from the library, made file folder games, found songs and came up with activities that went along with each of the themes.
She'll be posting a theme each week (intro on Monday, book suggestions on Tuesday, activity ideas on Wednesday). Thursdays will be a post about an activity that doesn't necessarily coordinate with any particular theme...these will go in the "Fun In The..." section. Fridays will be a post about a parenting topic of some sort.
Pretty awesome! I can't wait to start using some of her ideas!
