Why for??

We've been married for three years (plus a couple weeks) and Ross is always asking why I love him. I never ask such questions of him, but then again I'm the perfect wife, what's not to love!   ;)  Well here it is, a "why for" list of the perks of being permanently attached to my man:

He tells me I'm beautiful even when I haven't showered for three days (gross! I know) and I'm lounging around the house in saggy-baggy comfy clothes being a frumpy new mom.

He often follows such a compliment by tactfully saying "How's about I take little Superman for a bit, while you go shower."

He buys a portable washing machine for the apartment and hauls it up three flights of stairs by himself because I complain about hauling a laundry basket up said stairs a couple times a week (plus no one likes paying $2.50 for every load).

His toes are long and dexterous. A truly fascinating opposite from my own stubby ones.

He rides the bus 30 minutes to school so that I can have the car, just in case I feel like going somewhere.

He works like a madman so that I can stay home to be mom and finish my degree, all the while listening to me complain about how I have to be in school.

He gives me the look of death when I forget to let him get my door, especially if we're on a date.

He takes me on grocery shopping date nights (romantic, huh?), even though he hates grocery shopping, because he knows I dislike going alone during the week.

He makes me laugh so hard. Not always because he's so funny, but because he thinks he's funny, and that really is funny.

He comes home and plays with Superman while I make dinner, filling a sometimes mundane task with joy as I watch and listen to both of them laugh and laugh some more at each other laughing.

He is always aware of the fact that I don't like pizza, but asks if we can have it anyway.

He is also aware that the only part of the pizza I really like is the crust, so he saves his crusts for me.

He is a total nerd and he knows it, but he likes to pretend that he's not.

He gets so embarrassed when he says, "I'm majoring in computational linguistics." and after a brief explanation receives the compliment, "Wow, you must be really smart."

Sometimes he even bends the truth a little to avoid the explanation and the inevitable compliment. But you really are that smart, my love.

And finally, his hug is the most calming, peaceful, loving thing that happens to me everyday, usually several times a day.

I love you, Ross!

Wait, wait wait. Why did I not know you didn't like pizza? Is this true? It can't be. I am baffled.
