Yes, I know I am late, I refer you to the title of this post and continue my Happy Holidays!
Our holiday season started with Santa Clause!! Ross was asked to be Santa at our ward Christmas Breakfast. Ross wasn't sure whether he should be flattered or insulted, but was comforted by the fact that he wasn't the first choice -- the suit was too small for the other guy.
BTW - Ross isn't really this fat, he is stuffed with pillows :)
We spent the rest of the Christmas season in Arizona with Ross's family. The twelve-hour drive is no fun, but we enjoyed being where the weather was warm and with good company. For Christmas Ross totally surprised me and gave me a Wii. So the rest of holidays were spent playing the Wii. (I was going to post a picture of our Mii's but I haven't learned how to do that yet).
While we were in Arizona we had the opportunity to go to the Mesa Temple with Kevan as he received his Endowment (Congratulations!). It is so wonderful to attend the temple and even more especially when you are surrounded by those you love. I am so thankful to have a family that values the covenants made within the temples!
While at the temple we also enjoyed the beautiful Christmas lights! I especially enjoyed this since we did not get to visit Temple Square in Salt Lake, but Mesa is just as beautiful! I think it is the first time I have seen a palm tree all lit up with Christmas twinkle lights! :)
